1972 v8 for sale in Edmonton north London

Grim, it's lucky that I like swimming then, lol. It would take a lot to get a P6 to do 0-60 in 6 secs though. As I said somewhere on here, it might be a case of getting it out of my system with a TVR, then settling down with a P6. Much like having a rumble with a nubile nympho, before settling down with an old battleaxe!

If you need to do it , then get it out of your system
I've a neighbour with a wedge-shape 390i ( I think ) -he thought he'd blown up the engine and took it out only to find the end of the rocker shaft had broken off . Engine still waiting to go back

I like the G reg era TVR's with a Ford V6 - can't think what it's called

No, the mid-late 80's wedge shape jobbie, not curvaceous like the Griffith, but a lot cheaper!

Dave
Oh right do you mean the shape with mk1 cortina rear lights? And ice cream van lol ;-)

Oh and the griffith used mondeo rear lights iirc

Dave Herns, I know which one you mean, looked ok, but V6, nah. There was a late V8 version though!

Happy Days, you have a far more subtle turn of phrase than myself sir!

Herts2000, buggered if I know what lights they've got, I've usually just got a big daft grin on my face, too blissed out on the V8 burble to notice details like that!

You've gone too early Dave mate, IIRC it has rectangle lights similar to sd1 rear lights..

I enjoyed mine in some ways :)
My neighbour had the earlier shape and he told me he drilled the floor pan to let the water out

This was mine :)

its not that its just alot or every tvr has another manufacture's rear lights :)

Just like Lotus using SD1 rear lamps and various parts from others bins :)

The Capri lights stemmed from the early model, the Tasmin, having a Capri 2.8 lump

It's a TVR S2 1990 vintage that I'm referring to
Presumably there was a S1 as well
Not sure what rear lights it's got but I can recognise the door handles as Capri/Mk3 Cortina

Also an S3, the one with the V8, dunno what door handles it had though, lol.

Nice pic. of your one Guy, never seen one with 4 exhaust pipes before!

Thank you for the nice comment Dave, but its not my TVR I just downloaded the image from Google to show Dave(herts2000) what the rear lights were like, if you remember from my earlyer post I'm not a fan of that shape TVR so would not really own one.

No worries Guy, I got you & GrimV8 mixed up, silly bugger! anyway they both look great motors. I guess I'll have to stock up on drill bits, lol.
