Hi

I am in the market for a top condition 3500, preferably automatic but not a deal breaker. Must be fully sorted with no rust issues or mechanical problems. I am willing to pay top money for the right car. Let me know. Thanks Mike.

Hi Dave I saw this on Ebay. Unfortunately it's up for auction, and more importantly it's LHD.

This Corsica Blue 3500has been for sale for a while now, but it does look tasty. Not badly priced at all either if it's as good as all that.

Not sure I need a LHD British car. Looks nice though. The £8000 is going to be the reserve price, I'm sure that the expected price is going to be considerably more especially if there is foreign interest.

Alaways amuses me the comments that uninformed sellers make " for such a heavy car" what a load of bollocks, at least it prequalifies the seller as at best uninformed and probably you can discount any of their other opinions too.

That NADA Rover looks outstanding. I have never seen one on Australian roads.

Ron.

Though even apart from the stickers, it still looks very fussy to my eyes. Far too much going on externally though I do like that interior.

I know what you mean, I wouldn't go out of my way to own a NADA myself as they just lose all of the crispness of the lines, but I do appreciate them... when others own them!

Hi,

I certainly agree, where I can see the attraction, NADAs are not to my taste at all. I also don’t like the other accessories that tend to complicate the cleanness of the lines, things like the boot mounted spare, fog lights, badge bars, etc…… The ET head rests also look cumbersome and oversized to me.

I also agree that there is a popular misconception that the P6 is a heavy car, it really isn’t, I think it weighs in about the same as a basic Mk.1 Mondeo .

Tim,

You share my sentiments exactly. Most of the stuff that changes hands for silly money (rear headrests, fog lights, desmo bars, etc) are of no interest to me. Although I would like a set of front headrests.... for safety more than aesthetics.

I think the P6 weighs about 1200 kg, slightly more for the V8s maybe. The other day I didn't quite get far enough into a parking space, but had already put the steering lock on. So I just opened the door, stuck my foot out and pushed the car back with the handbrake off. My mate was staggered at how light it was!

Oh Dear - and there I went looking for an electric P6 -took me a while to get it right
