Another P6 V8 wanted!

Hi all,

I'm still looking for a P6 V8, ideally pre 73.

Not to bothered about condition but needs to be pretty sound as I can't weld!

I'm in North Wales, just on the English/Welsh dotted line, near Oswestry.

I promise a good home and any P6 I take in will not be broken for bits! It will keep my 1963 Land Rover company!

Looking for more of a cheaper one, don't mind if it is a bit tatty.................
 
How much do you want to spend?I maybe selling one of my other cars.1973 'M' V8 auto in Lunar Grey

The answer is not every much. £500...............? £750............? I do want it to be tax free though.
 
I can give you a number of a recently deceased friend on mine's partner.She is looking to sell 2 of his V8's.Both tax free!! ???

I know the cars are maybe out of your price scale but trust me,the S1 is a very good solid car,i can arrange to have it mot'd for you if you are interested.If i could afford it i would have it but have to spend time on my latest toy,Capri 280 Brooklands.

Argh!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh for some more money!

I know they would both be good cars and I'm sure they are both worth the price. Currently I could afford 2/3 of the price of the cheaper one. If the owner is interested at that figure I might be able to do something.

What can I say? I would promise to love and polish it!
 
Hi Richard.I'll have a word with her on the price for you to see if she's willing to go low.Wot i could say is that the car does need an MOT,the bumper isn't secured properly,ive got the brackets but not had time to do it and it needs an O/S/F light unit as the one on the car dropped to bits when i was changing the bulb.Oh and one of the back brakes needs looking at.So if you can trailer it away might be worth a shout.P.S. where are you in this pleasant isle!!!!?

Hi Peter i think you may be seeing jumbo with his new toy sometime very soon.I think we've struck a deal on an S1 V8.But i think you'll hear him before you see him!!! :p :p
