Richard your welcome,everyone should have a P6 they are brilliant!Dave the only decent cars in the fleet are my P6,Capri 2000.The 280 is having paint/body welding work,the Vitesse and the Scimitar are like those Airfix kits when you buy them.IN LOTS OF LITTLE BITS!!!'but those are projects that have no time scale,they're done when they're done :p
 
Oh well, a delay. Thanks again John for sorting all this stuff out.

I found a calliper by the way, on eBay, buy-it-now price of £48 incl P&P. Is it worth getting?

Although I didn't say it last night, I could also come on Saturday, if that would help.............

Hi Richard.Ive managed to get the car booked in for its MOT at the garage i mentioned next Monday.I know its a delay in you getting your new toy,but they will get it through its test.Depends on what condition the caliper is in,will it need new seals and will that work afterwards?Like i said on the phone yesterday Wadhams do exchange units for £70 so that maybe your best option.At least you're getting one with a warranty ??? .I will keep you informed on any changes if there is any,highly likely owning a P6!!!!But i will give it a good polish for you so that will save you doing that for a day or two!!!! :p :p

I could get the train up on Monday, if I knew it had passed its MOT before I left (I suppose I would need to know before 12:00 really). What time is the MOT?

If I got this train, I would arrive at 16:54. Would this be OK?
 
Hi Richard.Just finished work and read your post.The MOT is booked in for 9am Monday so it should be done for ten.Ive already spoken to the tester and explained what was happening with the car and he's happy to pass it.So if you let me know your mobile number i can ring or text you there and then and i could pick you up from the station when you get here. :)

Is there anything I need to bring (apart from cash of course :laugh: )? Does it run on unleaded/leaded etc (did I ask this? ~ I have forgotten).
