Cambs/Beds/Herts meet invitation

There's little as boring as a load of people seeing who's car is the shiniest - eg MG Owners....
I think we are more interested in cars which are used and how to keep them going

got my p6, so that'll be going to the next one, november 7th, 2pm onwards. all welcome

Kris

I see from the pics the Red Vitesse and the imposing figure of Ramon Alban. Am I correct? Does he attend these meets, as I have read his book and he is an excellent engineer of all things injected in the V8. I would like to meet him.

hi jim
he does attend the meet sometimes, not in the last couple of months, you'll have more chance of meeting him during the summer months

Kris

Thanks for that. His book always gets me out of trouble. I have been on his website too. His articles are, how can I say, very user friendly and written from the perspective of an owner, often assuming no knowldge. He is very good.

Hi all,
when is the next meet? I'm in North Essex so you're not a million miles from me, I'll bring my SC over.
Cheers,

Hi Kev, Just a quick message to say that we both enjoyed the meeting (5/12). Very friendly people and some interesting cars too. Sorry we didn't get chance to say goodbye but I couldn't resist the idea of the P6 convoy on the way out, had to join in. Thanks for the coffees too and we will definately be at the next one. I'll see if I can rope anyone else in too.
Cheers Jon and Maria.

glad you both enjoyed it. look forward to seeing you back there in future.
a good turnout for the december meet at the red lion

the next one is saturday 2nd january, 2pm onwards, at the red lion whittlesford. all rovers welcome

Looking forward to seeing the "regulars" and maybe some new faces this weekend. Hoping for the good weather and a good natter too.

Kris, I would seriously like to have a jaunt over, just I am flat out saturdays. If I get a day clear I would love to attend. Although I thought I would never say it, D846 AHW, what an imposing looking car ... is it as clean as it looks? The best example over there?

hello jim. D436 JHW has been restored within the last year, it is prettier in the steel than in the pictures.
oh, and er....it's kev by the way
anytime you're free, pop over. sure we'd all like a gander at a different sort of twin plenum 8)
