Back in April I was asked to assemble a cast of rare Rover P6's for a 50th anniversary article in the prestigious Classic & Sports Car magazine, being written by journalist Andrew Roberts.
It was a bit of a hairy co-ordination exercise, and I did have to make a last-minute substitution of one car a few days before, but I did pull it off.
We had the still-serving Met Police V8, Bill Webb's superb estate, the 'factory' convertible, the late-substitute Paprika 3500S of James Harris, and 149FLK, one of the 1963 press fleet.
The relief when all the cars turned up at the desired spot (The Elvetham Hotel in Hartney Whitney) was palpable.
It's a great article, C&SC doesn't really rattle my trap, but this one's worth buying.
