I happened to be driving 'Bop' on Drive it Day & saw a number of other classics. Probably 1 in 8 acknowledged me....
I do get the feeling that most "must own a classic" people are actually not interested in classics per se. That's why you need a Drive it Day I suppose, or those cars would never be out!
I've said it before, but it's mostly the drivers of stereotypical classics (MGB, E-type, Minor) that this applies to. However, I appreciate not all of those drivers are the same - we had great fun with an MGB so I am one of them!
Also, of course it's each to their own. If they enjoy their cars, then that's what they are for...
