Gone and done it!

Remember to follow the guidance on the red sticker on the radiator cowl when you top up the coolant. You need to fill it at around 1500rpm. This gets rid of airlocks so improving your cooling, as well as helping your heater to work properly.

I never read the sticker & had problems for years! I was careful to put the sticker back on when I repainted the cowl though...

Didn`t do this Phil, is it worth draining and trying again if heater doesn`t get warm?
 
You can just top it up if you've got the correct strength antifreeze in already, but you're probably not sure, so I'd put a fresh mix in.
