Hi everyone,
I have recently discovered this forum and have found it a very informative and interesting place. I don't have a p6 at the moment but have owned a few in the past and have had thoughts on getting myself one as a daily driver again.
I sold my last one about twenty years ago and have fond memories of the luxury leather seats, cool strip speedo and fantastic ride they gave. I was a member of the p6 owners club and attended a few of the rallies in Sussex and Kent at the time.
Sadly the p6 doesn't appear to be a familar site on our roads today, I guess the dreaded rust has taken it's toll! I have had a look on the DVLA website to see if my old cars are still alive but they were last taxed around 1999.
I found a few old photos of my cars today : XJG 848J was a Cameron Green 2000 automatic, UHK 959K was a Monza Red 2000 manual, and LDV 662F was a Zircon Blue 2000TC which interestingly had the series 2 chrome side strip down the side. All were great cars to drive although I did find the automatic a tad sluggish.
Anyway I thought I'd share the photos with you and who knows maybe I'll get myself another p6!
