Hit n Run!!

Ol Thunderdog was hit by a Mk1 escort van. There wasn't much left of it to be honest.

The Police removed a lot of it with a dustpan and brush

Up to a point I can understand someone doing a runner if they have damaged your car, what I will never get my head around is keying or spray paint as per Mr Q's pic. Why ? All you can hope that is in later life they have a serious fallout with a black belt champion. After all Mr Q's car is a nice colour

My Boy stayed on at work till 1am sunday morning repairing the knock its in primer now.... will get a pic Monday morning

Yeah, my semi-restored old Spitfire 1500 took a shoeing once when parked in central Bristol, Southville to be exact. Smashed both lights and clearly jumped on the soft-top, which was the only good condition part of the car. I think they tried to take it first but I had the king lead from the dizzy indoors. For some reason they never bothered to assault my E plate Granada Ghia - can`t imagine why not!

Hope it all comes right without too much pain..

Cheers

James

Thanks James,
Here's the pic repaired, re etched, primered and guidecoated ready for a flat down......

Good quick work! I bet it's annoying to have to repair it though. Perhaps some chevrons instead of paint might be a good idea so people will drive around it in future?
