Hey,
Took a bit of a recording of the exhaust note on my P6 when I gave it a run out today, first time i have really been able to give it a bit of a rev when parked up a little bit out into the countryside where i wouldn't be annoying the neighbours with the noise.
It's running a 2.5" system with a straight through central muffler and no rear resonator and what look like different aftermarket manifolds (or extractors as they get called over here). It's a touch on the loud side and i'm hoping it loses a little bit of the hollow echoeyness that's present currently as it beds in when i get a chance to do more km's now that it's back on the road.
I had to leave the camera (cameraphone) sitting on top of the boot and about 2-3m away on the ground behind the car as any closer and the mic was cutting out and alas i was all by myself so didn't have anyone else to hold the cam present.
On the move it isn't droney inside the car thankfully so doesn't intrude much.

And one of a brief (and keeping it legal) 0-100kph run without thrashing the old girl so you can hear it on the move. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5G_GS8_Tolk
Would be interested in hearing the sound of other peoples for comparison if anyone has video/audio clips of theirs too.
Cheers,
Al
