At the NEC recently Mrs Happy Days treated me to a steering wheel. Fitted over the holiday period and very nice it looks as well. Very comfortable and a nice feel to it as well. My old "S" wheel was 16" and this is 15" and what a difference that inch makes :D

Its those little details that matter John, did you notice the bickwork is as close to Mango as i could get and the white on the gates is in fact Arctic white. :D

That's just you Mick, attention to detail. Even your wheelie bin is mango. You could give that skinny Beckham bint lessons in colour co-ordination and fashion style. .

But not on your sports leisure wear range.
John.

When driving I have a restricted view of the dash instruments (nothing major but restricted). Have more turns of the wheel to get around tight corners, hands nearer together, all causing no problem but noticeable. Like everything though , next week it will be the norm. :D
Mrs Happy Days says an inch doesn't make any difference. I want to know how the hell does she know
SHE DON'T DRIVE !!!

Lol,....

The steering wheel looks great and so does your Rover Mick,.. :D

Is that an additional non slip matt sitting on top of the standard one Mick? Looks like it only covers the section in front of the passenger. I can see a little chap with a blue hat, bit like a smurf but in reverse, just to the left of the piece that I am referring to.

Ron.

Thanks guys, you are correct Ron , it is indeed a non slip mat. The original Rover one is still their but things slide all over it, hence the other one. The little guy is "Gary " . He was a gift from Mrs Happy Days years ago and has sat in my car to keep it safe when I'm not around. He is a golfer and is carrying his clubs in his bag, I'm told if anyone breaks into the Rover he breaks their arms with his 5 iron

Looks the puppy's parts, no mistake.

I too have the Moto Lita wheel, but the leather type. I wouldn't now go back to the standard power steering wheel.
