Nut and bolt set....

I need to get a good stock of nut and bolts for when I'm doing stuff to the old girl, I want to get a good quality high tensile ones if I can, non of the soft ones that snap as soon as they are done up tight.I had some fancy coloured ones for my bike, were made out of a very soft ally and were useless, even just for bits of trim.

Any suggestions?
 
There's McMaster Carr here in the US. They have everything, and I mean evertything. Really good website with details on alloys and part performance. And being American they have a massive stock of UNC and UNF nuts and bolts. Website is:

Can certainly recommend Namrick - I placed a couple of orders last week and the stuff arrived by post the next day on both occasions.

Quality of the stuff is good and, as well as small quantities, they do selection packs. The prices seem reasonable too.
 
Thanks guys, I'll order some up and see what they are like when I get some. Can never have too many nuts and bolts. :LOL:
