Overheating issue with my 2200 TC

Tonight there's a movie on the French TV called "the Bank Job" and there's a lot of P6 in it (mostly police ones)

A very good friend of mine worked on that film, involved in sourcing the cars and period automobilia for Jason Statham's character's garage amongst other things. Like me, she thinks the film isn't that great though. I've yet to watch Statham in anything without getting a rash of splinters....

I began by the LHS plate, the easier one

I hope i am not too late telling you this, but since this starter feeding cable is permanently live, it would better be covered with a suitable boot. Short circuits on this could be very nasty indeed.

Also, there should be a metal cover over the engine mounting, to protect it from the heat of the exhaust manifold.

Well, don't worry, I'll put back a cover, the battery is off the car. There is no metal cover on my car. It was modified by the previous owner.

Hi everyone
the P6 is back on the road at last! No more overheating issue.
It took a while but I didn't have that much time to work on it and had irritating problems: I broke a waterpump bolt in the block, took time to extract it, then when everything was back in place, I took the car for a test drive and the exhaust manifold broke at the rear cylinder, so i had to remove everything again, looked for a second hand one and refit everything back. I also had to replace the brake light switch.... But now everything is fine and I drive it since last week
