Rebuilding the 2000 engine in So Cal

Cheers Vern I have no idea all the parts are back where I found them 2 months ago. So far all i've needed to do was swap out the O ring on the reserve tank for a Viton one as it leaked over night . She drives like a dream , first 3 miles OK , bonnet is getting painted by our neighbors to match the body. The car will be totally repainted as soon as funds allow .

Your ignition coil is in a very odd spot, I've never seen one there before. Normally it would be where the fan resistor for the A/C is located, and usually they moved it to between the battery and the brake servo. But then the install has got other odd features, like the PVC valve.

Mine is in the same place on my 69 TC, it was there on my 68 TC too.

Just noticed you have the single servo. Here's mine on a twin servo setup

Blimey how many Servo's do you need :) I'm glad to say mine stops good anyway although I've only done 10 miles to home , no freeway driving yet .I must say I'm having fun & enjoying my car .

You can never have enough servos Steve! Rover got carried away when they had to design the dual circuit system on the 2000 I think.

It's not the side of the car that's odd, it's being on top of the servo like that. The location in sdibbers picture is what I'd of expected if it were on that side of the car.

Cheers Vern I personally never mount a coil on it's side as the oil can be away from the coil in certain brands & the coil can overheat & fail so that will be being moved once the hood is mounted so I can find a decent spot .
