Got there 11.30 chat, paid balance,did paperwork and walked up to the p/o to tax it!
Go to last owners house to collect 4 x nos wings,4 x nos light units,4 x nos S type bright finish trims,and a nos sill cover,also 20ltrs of auto gearbox oil,all for an agreeable,but still large sum of the folding queen! :wink:
Stopped for a snack on the way home,nearly got taken out by a twat on 2 wheels,and a foreign artic on my side of the road on a sharp bend! :shock: :shock: :roll:
Anyway we are home and it drove as smooth as silk all the way back,almost as good at changing gear as my mate who drove me there's 2010 X type Jag!!
Also noted ashtrays and lighter have never been used!
More info from last owner was that the 1st owner was retired and single so very rarely had any passengers,and last owner only occasionally had somewone in the front,and nobody in the back as far as he can remember!
Not a single rip,burn,tear,loose seam anywhere on the seats only a few expected bum type stretch marks on the drivers seat base!
Static seatbelt socks near perfect,minor sun fading of back shelf and seat tops!
Just having a sit down and a cuppa before going out to play with it!
