rover p6...1970  for bits.

sorry everyone car has now gone..A rover p6 man came monday night and removed the rear section along with the glass and rear seats and trim..so the bits have gone to a good home.I really didnt want to crush this car as i have only seen 2 other estates cars like this before..if it didnt have a destruction order on it i would have removed the bits to put on another p6
 
I think the man who took the bits is on this forum as when i said about it he said he knew about it,He came in a p6 to have a look at the car first then came in a mk1 transit van to put the bits in,he was very happy to have the bits as he wanted a p6 estate and was going to convert his own car.As I said to him and others who have come and got bits I dont ask for any money if the bits are going to a p6 owner but I will do if its a dealer or for a compleate car.
 
another p6 estate up for bits..roof has a cut above the front doors the car is stripped of interior bits its just a shell..NO glass but the boot is there and in good condition as well as the rear panels are very good all the front panels are dented including the bonnet..its was going to go banger racing!!
free to anyone who wants it it has to go by friday next week (25 august)

Alas in the wrong place - darn it - Could do with the custom sidepanels that fit between the wing and the side glass

If you keep finding them - I'll just have to move back to the UK!:p
 
going to get another estate and 2 saloons on saturday.as well asa few other makes of cars from a scrapyard thats closed.
 
Where do all these estates keep coming from ?? I thought they only made a few hundred, I think Jay's had half of them ! :D
 
I just keep on getting offered any unusual cars and vans..I have had several mk1 transits as well and even a rolls royce last week for scrap or do what i want with them.
 
the cars from the scrapyard clearance all the cars are free and must be collected from me or i maybe able to deliver locally for price of fuel@£1 per mile 1 way trip...no paperwork or reg plates unless it states them,remember the cars came from a scrapyard that has closed and the cars may not have run for a while any that run i will say so.

1 p6 series 2 2200tc manual in black good engine box a little noisy in neutral no trim or glass have the v5 and reg number

1 p6 series 2 good engine and auto box no trim or doors but has boot mounted spare with a good boot and the proper latch.

1 very much modified p6 heavy impact to the right side roof and floor right into the middle of the car but the left side has good doors and boot no bonnet or engine/box.(this cannot be put back on the road due to accident damage..)

will edit post when they go...Please dont call at house leave a message or post a reply the cars are free as i dont need them and would prefer enthusiasts have the cars before they get crushed which will next be 30 october 2006

sorry car has gone i have had the post reedited

the estate has someone coming to look at it tomoro morning..

just so everyone knows JAY has gone off galibanting to 2 steam rallys for the next 2 weeks and wont be back till 27 september but if anyone wants anything someone is around and can check his mail everday and give a bit of advice.
 
the estae is still there as we had a real time waster who wanted it delived to birmingham for £20!!!!!
even though they are advetised as free and collection only...
