Finished the bracket on the box, made the inspection hole and cover and modified the bracket on the ZF box into a clevis
All parts were shotblasted primed and given a top coat
Then two shifter locking plates were welded up and a piece was cut out from a spare shifter
These welded up plated were fitted to the shifter and connected to the shifter cable
Then i ran threw the gears and marked the positions where the new grooves needed to be made which gave the following result
The P,R,N and D position are now very precise and solid. The 1,2 and 3 position can ll be reached but are less precise due to the tight fit. Also reduces the diameter from the locking pin in the shifter handle from 3,5 to 3mm,
