Jinx performed like a trooper too, didn't miss a beat and gave us nearly 30mpg with three of us on board

Brilliant! Just what you need from a daily driver! :D

Cheers for that video Gaz. The paintwork doesn't look too bad on there (mine was the red rollered on job!)

P.S Loving the CA Dormobile and the Raleigh Choppers! I never had a Chopper but I had Grifters. It's probably not your thing but I have a 1983 Mk1 Raleigh Burner which I 'custom' restored.

Will.

Thanks Will, your car still looks good for being rollered as I told you on Sunday. I know the type of bike you have, but I only have room for Raleigh Choppers. Still nice to have though Will, as it'll be a great talking point, right?

Some pics we took at Beamish.....

Did Beamish allow everyone to take individual photo's of their own cars in the Town too?

Yes Gaz they did, see above, the museum closed at 5pm and then they let you up to the street for the pics above, too good to miss really.

just to sayer a big thanks to every one who came to beamish on sunday some excellent cars :D :D :D well done to all prizes winners ,great to see three nadas in one place and to meet all the forum members :D :D :D

Thank you for all that attending Beamish Rally on Sunday. Despite the wind and cold, everyone had a good day. :D 8)

Date for next years Rally - 20th May 2012

thanks to the organisers, a good day, even if i did arrive well late by taxi (sd1 overheated on the m11, recovered home, set off again in 820. on the a1 near durham, alternator belt tensioner broke, causing the alternator belt to snap and go through the timing cover and knock the timing out - result, valves meet pistons at 3000rpm)

some beautiful cars on display. i look forward to a more straightforward journey next year, and some sun 8)

he'll have to be, they will be baked bean tins by now. unfortunately the recovery costs were at least twice what the thing was worth when it was a running low miler. pity really as it had never let me down in five years. hopefully next year i will have more luck :D i may shoot an albatross before i leave home...
