Have arrived at Byreside and have the kettle on :D

It had been dry all day until we got about a mile from the site....only a few spots of rain. Nice and sunny now, but a bit windy.

Dave

Morning campers. for those of you with access to the forum on the go, it's a little drizzly here this morning and windy too. The sun is making a brave effort to break through every now and again though.

See you guys and gals there.

Dave

Well thankyou to everyone who attended the show,it was fantastic,it was nice to see you all off the forum, there was some fantastic cars on show and hope you all have a safe journey home and hope you all will return to this spectacular venue next year, thanks again :D :D :D

I had a great day today!. It was really nice to talk face to face with some of the forum members.I think my Dad really enjoyed himself aswell, he seemed to be in his element talking about P6's all day. There were some stunning cars on display and the venue/setting for the show was excellent. Today was my first ever visit to Beamish and I only live about half an hours drive away! I'm looking forward to next year already :)

Will.

Splendid day, many thanks to all those who made it possible, and to those who made a newbie welcome, and I won a box of vinyl gloves in the raffle. Excellent :D

Yes a very good day, weather looked as if it was going to be dodgy but Brian did say he had it sorted and true to his word it didnt rain at all :D
Big thanks to the organisers, it does take alot of work to get these things done and it doesnt just happen overnight, so well done to you all.
What a great place Beamish museum is as well, Im meeting lots of you from the forum and chatting about the p6 and wife and bairns ( ) are wandering around the museum.
Was very good to see so many p6's together, Well done to you all. What a good idea as well for the photo opportunity at the end up at the old shops , superb.
Will get pics loaded soon. Again well done to everyone, brilliant day, brilliant setting, lots of great cars, looking forward to next year already.
Hope everyone had as good a journey their and home as we did.
see you all soon
Mick

Just home. Martin Smith will be somewhere out there on the road, now....he's got to go to Aldershot to drop his car off before going back to Mitcham. A brave man.

Excellent show folks. Lovely to see some familiar faces and some new faces!

Major congratulations to Mr. Flemen on wiping-the-floor exercise with the trophies. Well done mate!

From what I remember:

Best Series 1: Nigel Flemen WPG2G
Best Series 2: Brian Barker - just when you think his 3500S can't get any better, it does! well done mate!
Car of the show (most votes) - WPG2G.
Best daily runner our man Dave3066 in the roadmunching 3500S.

Cheers
Nick

Brilliant rally - thanks to all those who organised it, set up, marshalled, took down etc. I do the same for other groups & I know what's involved! Great to see so many forum members & fellow P6'ers! A very interesting venue into the bargain!

Here are a few pics.......

Lovely to see all those cars, both mint & well used, - all enjoyed one way or another.

See you next time :D

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the organisers of this event, and to those of you who took the time to attend.

We had a great weekend away with the camping over on Sat night (boy was it cold though  ) and having a good chat with everyone. I think I managed to speak to most forum folk who were there, apologies if I missed anyone.

Glad everyone who was travelling got back safe. See you all next time :D

Highly patriotic line-up of NADA 3500S's at Ian Wilson's on Saturday night prior to Beamish. I had an in-depth tour of Mr. keynsham's absolutely incredible car yesterday. Breathtaking motor.

Well done on getting a trophy Dave. All that effort with the polisher paid off then?

Nice one

Well done the Nigel and Brian as well 8)

hi all,
a pity about the cold weather, but it was dry and was an excellent day out.

nick, many thanks for posting those pictures of the NADA'S they do look good, last time i had three together they all looked sorry for themselves, the white one still does externally, but the other two look good with new paint etc and all road legal.

Just got home from my 609 mile round trip to Beamish. Had a great time. Thanks Ian (Wilson) for your hospitality. My car averaged around 22MPG which was fine, and after a change of condenser this morning to finally iron out a rather strange intermittent misfire, it is now safely back in it's garage.

Beamish is a great museum. It is such a shame I live so far away, otherwise I would visit more often!

We had a lovely day out, Ian and the NADA boys let us tag along on the way up so we had four P6's getting admiring glances all the way from Blyth to Beamish. It was great to put a few more faces to the names as well! Jinx performed like a trooper too, didn't miss a beat and gave us nearly 30mpg with three of us on board, Which had both Paul and me in disbelief. Roll on Rugely!
