Hi All
We'll be there, 'The General' is booked and Angie has booked a day off work to cover the journey down.
Having a quick scan through this thread and it was a quick scan, I noticed a remark about needing some fresh paint on the panels before attending the show, well that makes me feel that I need to remind you all of the ethos of the Rover P6 Club, and that is, that all P6's are welcomed to any RP6C event or meeting regardless of condition. After all the club founded its roots 18 years ago with members who used P6's as everyday transport at that time. Hence the Club has grown up as a friendly group of family people with an enthusiasm for self-help fellowship and the aim of keeping P6's alive and on the road without having to break the bank. The Club's fundamental aims are laid down in its constitution and the committee of volunteers work tireless to uphold this aim. Don't forget every P6 is someone's 'Dream car' and every P6 is welcome at every RP6C adventure.
Which reminds me the latest mag should hit the mats from today onwards and for those of you who haven't already booked into the RP6C National Rally at Hawkesyard Estate, Armitage Park, Rugeley, there is a form enclosed with the mag. If you are not a RP6C member you are still invited to attend, but you'll need to obtain an entry form either by download from the club website
www.p6club.com or by calling 07833 348030. Be there or miss what is already on paper, the biggest gathering of P6's for many years. To anyone who has already booked in, passes will start being sent out in the next to 10 days and the cost of the teatime/evening buffet is £5.00 per head. The bouncy castle is free to the next generation of P6 enthusiasts (under 16's). Oh yes nearly forgot, for those of you who haven't seen the last P6 of the production line, VVC 700S, it too will be at the National Rally.
Warmest regards
Mark
