speed awareness course

I have got a strong feeling that they are tying to scare motorists into driving at a indicated speed below 30 to make sure they don't get caught for speeding. all it will do is cause more jams and accidents as there will be people that want to drive at 30 and have to go over the limit in order to overtake.

from what I remember of the speed cameras between jedbrough and peebles they are grey boxes that are half hidden down here they have luminous yellow boxes that u can see for miles. there is a reason the cameras aren't set at exactly 30 mph they would take too many photos and have to be downloaded too often.

its a another do-gooder idea like the 20mph limit in towns just another way of causing issue to the majority because of the sake of the few. Most places they have 20mph signs u couldn't do more than 20 anyway because of parked cars and other obstacles but then they go and stick them on truck roads through towns that you could safely do 30 and all it achieves is traffic jams.

Nope they've all been torched :D They were all luminous yellow before, but are now all black and charred.

I was caught doing 37 in a 30 and was offered the course as I had no points on my licence. I did the course and they told us that we didn't have to advise our insurance. However, if insurance ever asked you have to be honest.
