Who does this car belong to?

Fred Moffat? or was it Selwin Froggitt? I thought it was a white 2000.

I know the back seat was always full of parking tickets where he would take them off the windscreen and just throw them behind him.

It was Fred Moffat played by Bill Maynard (your mixing him up with the character he played before that. ie: Selwyn Froggitt, whos only transport was a push bike)

Also, having got a few dvds of the aforementioned series, along with a few 'Selwyn Froggitts'. i can now confirm it was a very grimy white 2000. Every week he would pull to a stop in his works yard and "Ginger" would ask him a different question about the car. ie:
"Hey Gaffer how many miles an hour does this car do?"
"How would I know. I havent been able to keep it going for as long as an hour"

'FHY' was the P6's original reg wasn't it, not the Skoda's that he substituted before being arrested?

There is a old tv report on Youtube that shows the car, a mexico brown 3500S with a black roof/int.
(The rear plate does look P6 shaped so is probably the correct one).

There was something not kosha about the car, thats why the young copper pulled him after a radio check. Whether or not it was the plates ??

Not really to do with P6s but still on a similar topic can anyone remember the "One Armed Bandit Murder" which took place in County Durham in Jan 1967 when local playboy Angus Sibbet was found dead in the back of his Mk10 Jag. I have done a trace on this car & there is no DVLA record for this one either which seems odd to me because not so long ago the car was residing in a little yard not that far from where the incident took place & the owner knew what he had & I didn't get the feeling he would scrap the car but who knows?

funny that i did a trace on one of my firenzas witch i know as not been scrapped and dvla have no record funny iv got the vin plate number plate and log book right here??????????????????? and its on sorn

this as the new style log book it was taken off the road 3mths ago last time i taxed it no probs iv owned the car for 5 years and never had a problem

I bet if they were sending you a speeding ticket it would miraculously reappear on their database, I've just tried a car on an old book & that came up ok so that shoots my theory out the window
