Welded base unit and rebuilt 2200TC engine

Hi Jono - just had a look at your RR blog and the thread on here.
Looking good, sir, excellent progress...
I'll have a hunt round for the door handle. It should have been in one of the boxes of door parts, but I seem to remember some door handles in one of the wooden boxes.

Crankshaft.

Andy, i assume?

Hello!

Ive got behind on this, wiring still mistifies me as im not the one to have taken it off but im going to get on the case soon i hope.

Intial plan was to finish my triumph, use that, finish the P6 and then use that (because the p6 is the better car, therefore would be the natural progression)

But, as im currently unemployed, and the p6 only needs little spots of welding doing, and ill need another car come november, im going to get it roadgoing.

Ill try and keep you all updated, i often forget to visit this forum as im an RR regular.

Its great to see someone saving the cars left half done. To be honest its sometimes the best way to buy a rover at least you can see what your buying. Also if your in no rush you can pick up all the bits you need quite cheap off ebay. Or ask in the wanted section. Good luck with it and if engine is good the 2200 tc is the one to have.
Regards marcus
