Welcome to the forum of the future.... again....

I'm an active member now, must have changed when I first posted on the new system. I did like the counter though, that will be back then?

Cheers

Hi, your post count is still there on the the front page, top right in the box under your forum name.

My bookmarks seem to have vanished and it's no longer possible to view "my posts" - hopefully it will all be resolved soon.

Search is limited to only the new forum. Was trying to find an old thread on 64 cars for Nick

I am on Firefox and it seems to be working fine. My biggest issue is getting my head around the new look, which i am coming to like. I will wander over t my messages and see if they are still there.
Thanks for the work!

There are themes etc we can play with but thought it best to get it in and see what worked first.

Are you using firefox, chrome or internet explorer? I'm on firefox and it seems reasonably quick as does chrome. I have windows edge that seems a little slower, but cant test IE....
Interesting . . .
I was using Firefox and delay reported was consistent, 12 hours after I first posted.
I tried IE after reading your query - and - no perceptible delay.
Hope this helps, you're doing a great job. Thank you

Further to previous post, I went back into Firefox and the delay has now disappeared. It selects topic as near to immediately as makes no difference.
Getting better all the time . . . . .

Looks great to me. But is there an option not to see avatars alongside posts? Hiding them would be my personal preference but I can't see how.

It's gradually building up it's caches. The first time a page is accessed it has to do a database fetch. Once the page components are created it then stores them as a file which is then retrieved more quickly....

I'll stop talking in geek now..... :)

Rich, I notice that profile avatars don't seem to accept Gifs, they display but don't animate.
