Always good advice If you want me to hide anything let me know....Worth having a look over your profiles just to make sure that you are only sharing personal details on your profile that you are happy with like date of birth.
It seems a bit slower - a fairly consistent delay of about 6-8 secs (compared to the old set-up) when selecting a new topic.
Has anyone else found this?
I'll check that out!It seems a bit slower - a fairly consistent delay of about 6-8 secs (compared to the old set-up) when selecting a new topic.
Has anyone else found this? Might be my PC rather than the Forum.
It's not at all a problem to me, and I like the general appearance etc.

I have the same delay. I've also lost the majority of my contacts, and all of my "saved" messages that I had on the old forum. Maybe all of that is "work in progress" though so I won't get out of my pram just yet.....
It should be there - if it isn't though I'll work out how to fix it, or at least get you the old data. The old forum software is decommissioned but i still have the database and can run it back up temporarily if needed.
Anybody else have the same issue?
Thanks
Rich
Are you using firefox, chrome or internet explorer? I'm on firefox and it seems reasonably quick as does chrome. I have windows edge that seems a little slower, but cant test IE....It seems a bit slower - a fairly consistent delay of about 6-8 secs (compared to the old set-up) when selecting a new topic.

Is it the friends and foes section you mean?
That's the one. I keep a record of people I've had dealings with by adding them as "friends" so that I have a quick record of who's a good customer.
I can't bring up more than about a dozen members either, so all thoughts of trawling through the whole membership to rebuild the list would seem to be a non-starter as well.
The "saved" messages that I had were answers to commonly asked questions that I could just cut'n'paste to save typing the same thing over and over.
No delay that I can see. However, I can't search old posts at the moment, its a handy way to check if others have joined the conversation. Is that something we will see in the future?
Totally understand if you can't get all functionality up and running straight away though.
It will take some getting used to but it does look good
Just a couple of questions; why does it say new member under my avatar, and has the post counter thingy gone missing?
Cheers
Richard
