hi all while doing my oil change I noticed I had petrol dripping off the flywheel cover/bell housing at the back of the sump. on closer inspection I noticed the reserve cable was very wet and the whole area looked rather unkempt.

Ok I have put these bloody carbs on again after a complete rebuild with every single possible thing that could be replaced replaced. set the jets where they r supposed to be and started the engine to warm it up. I now have petrol pouring out the overflow pipe on the passenger side the engine...
hi all the manual(s) I have say that I should have 1.5mm of slack in the cable and then pull out the choke cable till the arrows on the cam are pointing at the middle of the fast idle adjustment screws. is this supposed to happen at full throttle??? because one then sets the idle speed etc or...
hi all I read in the pc magazine that I should be running bac needles in my hif6 carbs I cant seem to find any at a reasonable price. Don't want to pay out 24 quid plus postage plus vat to find they make no difference.
