    Hi All, More brain picking! Mine is a s2 2000tc. I have timed to 6 BTDC new plugs points and sorted sticking jet but now still have pinking under power. I don't know if the head has been modified for unleaded should I use an additive and if so what is recommended? Thanks in advance. Mark

    Hi Thanks for the responses. I am in the process of re timing everything ignition wise and have also discovered a rubber bearing that supports the linkage to carbs is perished allowing the mechanism to move up and down....hopefully once all this is done all will be well. Mark

    Thanks Steven, As far as I can tell \I have good current but will replace bulbs also wonder if the actual flasher unit can wear internally thus making poor contact so will also replace that. Mark

    Thanks for that I meant to say that I used a testing screwdriver from earth to live side. I replaced the bullet connectors and sprayed the whole lot with electrical cleaner....is it possible the relay is faulty even though it sort of works?

    Hi Stan, Thanks for your reply. How do I check the sender have found it and it has a connector inline should there be power there when engine running? Mine is 2000TC so wiring is different from yours, there are 2 spades connecting to back of ammeter but nothing on back of Oil Gauge, I assume...
