ok as ask--in 1991 I got hold of a p6 2000 sharkstooth-it was a 4 cylinder single carb----But was mashed on front passenger side-should have taken piccies-but did'nt--Put it in garage and then got married/kids etc---well in 2007--decided to do something with it---after get prices for parts-it was thousands-far more than car was worth-at the time -
so week later banger boys near were I live saw my p6 and said they had a smashed v8-no engine/box-but front end ok as rear was smashed in by a jag 420 :cry:
so got them to drop shell by my garage
After stripping my p6 to bare shell cut tunnel and bulkhead/bay from it-braced shell with steel borrowed from work :wink:
then grafted v8 series 2 bay/bulkhead and tunnel into my p6-bit like a cut n shut I then cut.welded 10x10 square section steel through sills up A/B posts across top of doors----all this added strength--I then seam welded whole shell
Then fitted v8 front suspension and steering gear--at rear got v8 diff housing with land rover diff {took dad days of machining} so got lsd in there
this is beefed front suspension
this is the one piccie prom 1991---what a mess-yes wing was missing
the 2000 bonnet was fitted -but reinforcing bars had to be cut out-and you can see NADA vents fitted-to get rid of heat :x
the 2000 p6 headlight assembly had to be grafted into v8 bay-as series 1 are different-as you can see join

engine was 3.9 running reworked Slightly Useless carbs
well blew that up racing an E type--and was slightly P********* off :cry: :cry: :cry:
off road for 3 months-looking at chev v8--when got call-----Buick 300/box---yes please
this is it---manifold is rover v8 with 2 plates made to fit block-again dad in action--guy is a mad genious
mount are made up to fit-big hammer style :twisted:
72gallon per hour pump
so then it went from this look ---as it looked a bit stock-well to me anyway-
to this-and started by Olivia-my 7 yr old Granddaughter
now here is the finer points of Black Rose--thats her name---hope you like it
NADA trim-higher than should be--
cut down Volvo springs on rear
the only silencer on her
front side lights----clear
rear lights---red and 2000 badge
now looks like this
