I was going to come up today for the first time but spent the whole day getting the Rover clean and polished for Petworth tomorrow
I will definitely be there next month though :D

Me too sorry Kev...obviously the first time doesn't apply to me

Would I be correct in saying the next meet is Saturday the 6th of October?

Yes Mike you are correct

If I can I will be there... Want to hear your rumble for real :)

Apologies for the lack of pictures recently. We've been turning up, but I haven't got my finger out and taken photos.

Sorry to Bob and Pauline in the 75 tourer, who left before
I took these.
More photos can be found at http://www.photobucket.com/allrovermeet

If anyone wants a handy and annoying email reminder for the meet, and other events we attend as a group, drop me a line.

All that's left is to wish everyone a happy Christmas and new year, and let you know the next meet is Saturday 5th January at 14:00[:)]

Despite the sub-zero temperatures not a bad turnout, great to see everyone again, see you in the new year :D

That certainly was a nippy one, temp needle never got out of the blue on the drive home which was approximately the same colour as my hands after standing outside the pub for a while. Nice to see you all, may see you at the next one depending on imminent arrival of littl'un. 8) 8)

It was a nice meet ,if a little cold ,and I had to scrape inside and out before I could drive home

I should have done the same, although the inside wasnt frozen it just wet and fogged up. All I did was give it a wipe and wipe the screen with the wipers. It wasn't until I set off did I realise that because the wipers need changing they only cleared a smnall strip, the inside fogged up and I couldn't clear it because the lever for the windscreen direction is stuck on feet and the blower is crap anyway and to top it off my heated rear window doesn't work! All in all what with the fogged up windows and only a slit to look throught I can now imagine what its like driving a Challenger tank with the hatch down

Yep, a very interesting meet for me, as I normally have to work on saturdays I miss out on this one. Great to meet up with Mike and Adam from here and see a couple of P6's for a change. I particularly liked the replacement interior in Mike's P6. I thought the buckskin/cream colour went very well with the white paintwork. I was trying to remember where I'd seen that combination before until now; The Saint's XJS had that colour combination 8)

Was cold too, but nice and dry. I think everyone's heaters were marginal too. Strangely the heater on my old Triumph Pi is very well suited to the winter weather. It's like an oven inside it when it's set to hot  . If I'm not working on the next meet I'll take it along :D

Nice to meet you too Lee and thanks for the kind words about my car and the interior, it's alway nice to hear what people think :D

I hope you can make to the next meet in January, would be nice to see your PI if possible  8)
