When you mention deck height are you talking about the block measured from its base? Or the cylinder head? If you’re considering having either planed be aware that it has a direct affect on the timing chain. I’ve seen heads overly skimmed where the timing chain is slack even with the tensioner deployed.
I have a 2000 block and bottom end in the garage. I’ll try and take some dims for the cylinder centers and block height for you. If you can wait a bit I can 3D scan for a more accurate read.
Ok, I should be able to get that with the short engine. I’ll let you know.when I refer to deck height I mean from the centre line of the crank to the deck surface and I’m not looking to have either the block or the head resurfaced. And I’m in no rush for the dimensions so you can take the measurements any way you see fit at any time.

Funny you should say that. Carrillo pistons aren't awful for custom parts. A friend of mine had a set of 4 custom pistons made up for an Abarth 1000 and it cost $800 for the set. I was thinking about seeing if I can design 10:1 CR 2200 pistons, just to see if its possible.I’m trying to see if there’s any cheaper readily available components for these engines and possibly a small performance boost if it’s there. At the very least if none of it’s possible right now, there’ll be a compendium of the measurements needed if others should want to give it a bash in the future.

True, I converted my 2000TC to a 2200 and found some 2200 rods. I’ve been told there’s a part of the rod that needs to be removed for the 2000 rod to work with a 2200 piston.That’s definitely a good price! One of the reasons I wanted to know the rod length was that I’d heard that the 2200 had its piston quite a bit down the hole to make up for the flat head and expensive piston design of the 2000. If that data was available you could find out the correct rod and piston combo to make that happen (10:1 CR) without breaking the bank.
