Phew :)

sorry for being a sensitive fool. I'm trying pretty hard to make this as good as possible for everyone.

I really want to hear as much comment as possible so i can make it all things to all men ... or a fair a approximation thereof! :)
 
You're doing a great job, with some useful sounding new categories. I don't have the permissions to see the Gallery though :(

I got an error message when trying to send a PM to JVY. This is what I got when I pressed "submit"

General Error

SQL ERROR [ mysqli ]

Duplicate entry 'tapatalk_push_slug' for key 'PRIMARY' [1062]

An SQL error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact the Board Administrator if this problem persists.

When I went "back" and refreshed the page my original PM was there (phew :roll: ), sometimes they disappear. I submitted it again and got the same error message. Then I noticed I had 2 messages in my "outbox" and when I looked, there were both PMs :?

That's you and pilkie then. Will try and work this out tonight. There might be an outage when I sort it!

i've turned off push notification on tapatalk as it appears this might be a possible cause. Please let me know if this fixes the issue :)

I have recently found out that with the change of the forum address to .net the email notifications went straight to junk email folder.

Once i found out, it was easy to rectify. :wink:
 
I've just checked and Mr Pilkie, your user had 'send notifications' by default switched on.

If anybody else is getting emails for any topic they reply to, just let me know - or you can turn this off in your user control panel.

I can only assume that as emails didnt work properly before the forum move that fixing the email system has just made this setting take effect!

Ah! that would explain it!
Couldnt see where to do that before,,,was it there,did you reinstate it?
Now I can tick the box IF I want to follow a subject and get reply notifications!

I am finding the pages are taking a while to load up, if that's what you mean. Not all the time, but often enough to be noticeable. I've been putting it down to my lack of enthusiasm to keep the fire raging in my steam driven computer during this warm spell.

Yes, but not all the time. First visit to the index and new posts loads really quickly but then it hangs on a thread I want to read, apparently randomly, before sorting itself out and going again.
