What' the overall opinion on having all the steel panels, dipped, stripped,fully galvanised, and etch primed before paint?
Obviously the bonnet and boot wont need it,just a V V good prep.
I have now got a full set of near rust free panels,I am about to undertake the same job on mine sometime this year!
I have a strange feeling that one of the staff writers on 'classics' magazine is having that done to his 3500S. Must look at the article again. He had the shell completely stripped and blasted.webmaster said:I would have thought that having a base unit fully galvanised was a good idea though.
