I echo everyone's comments - absolutely crackin' day out, and what a bunch of really friendly people too, which is nice to see (this was my first P6Club show). I've been to other events organised by other clubs/organisations which haven't been so accomodating!
here's a few pics from my album!
I rather liked Nick Dunning's elderly 2000 - had to take a some pics of the engine bay, quite different from the later cars
Nice tidy interior Nick, I can't make my mind up about mango though ...... but tidy all the same
Looks like Paul (
testrider) and
brip6rover here looking at Bri's rather tasty V8
If memory serves this is
2453kevinowen's 2000TC, he didn't manage to finish putting her together for Malvern, but did manage it for Beamish, after a 30 mile test drive he put his faith in his work and drove the hundreds of miles round trip to Beamish - fair play Kevin, and good to meet you at last
(hope I got the right car!)
Yes that is my car. It was nice to meet you and other members, I was impressed by the quality of the finish you have achieved with the woollies kit on your seats. I really enjoyed the show with a great line up of cars and a great location. The car did the round trip with no problems. I would like to thank Mark Gray on giving me the insurance valuation and some great advice and tips. 8)
The Beamish museum was a superb place to visit too, including an old fashioned garage, even Pilkie's garage wont have room for this engine crane
Lots more photos, including those of the museum itself on
