At the end of the day anyone can be found. If you operate in car circles, you operate in a network, everybody knows everybody, you know that Rovering Member as our paths have crossed via a 3rd party. Anybody can be found. As such why not remove this section "Cars Spotted", as anybody can log on and will be aware of where cars are, more or less and set to work.
To say a car is located exactly in X was perhaps naive, but please keep your hair on. As stated before, car theft can lead to a 2 year stretch .... for a £500 Rover 2000, highly unlikely. I mean seriously WHO is going to nick that car?? What is it worth broken, even if it is super tidy, which it isnt! If it is a minter, which it isnt, somebody would have to ring it!! Ringing a Rover 2000!!! Mate there is more chance of waking up one morning to find this country's immigartaion problem was all a bad dream.
As for the other point about members showing their houses, cars etc. I appreciate that it is done willingly and with the consent of that person, BUT, following on from the theme that forums are under surveillance, then a silly move? As stated before, we all know what certains peoples garages contain, their layout, garden layout, work they do in the day etc etc etc. We know they sell on ebay using the same name, hich would generate an address.
Basically, I think we can all learn a lesson here. ALL OF US, need to think about what we are posting. Whilst we are all friendly, decent blokes who like our Rovers, this is the internet and all sorts can access our "lives". Before posting, we all should bear this in mind. As for thse of you that have had a go at me over this, i'll return your handbags later girls!!
