I remember a guy called Peter Harvey refurbed my Britax roof some years ago, but also does Webastos.

Did a grand job indeed, not sure if he is still around to help with the Huntsman.

As far as i am aware, Peter Harvey is still around dealing in all kinds of sunroofs in Sandwich Kent. I had him cut my roof panel (off the car) and do a temporary insallation of my new old stock Britax Weathershield roof (had to come out again anyway to vinyl the roof panel and fit headlining once the panel was refitted.
He did a good job, so i can highly recommend him.
Glen.

A big thanks to rp61973, I did indeed track Peter Harvey down and he does still fit webasto sunroofs. He did have some huntsman but not alot. So after talking to him and listening to his advice I decided if I want it to look good ie the lining stitched properly and neatly it was a job for him to do. Went down today with everything he needs 277 miles, he behaved very well, 22 mpg and didn't miss a beat. Seen some of Peters work as he had just finished a Capri, very nice job. So my car is now with him having it done. We measured up the huntsman he had left and he says it will be tight but will have enough. Happy Days, so just got back in as I got the train back from Sandwich Kent to Manchester £37 how good is that price. Had a word to see if he could get anymore Huntsman and he is going to ask around and let me know. So at the moment in am p6 less.

Well it was inevitable that there had to be some original huntsman out there somewhere!!
Well done for tracking it down!
Look forward to seeing it at this years RP6C annual meet, hopefully will have got mine done by then!
Will be TWINS!!
I presume the guy you mentioned had some in an earler post didnt have any after all.
Still got a few more avenues to go down,so heres hoping I am in luck soon!

Closest i got was a company here in Manchester who
Said they could get brown but would look nothing like the original . I didn't want that really so held back and carried on looking. Seen Peter Harvey's place and it looks a very good set up. He has an e type jag which is concourse and a Daimler Sovereign he rebuilt from scratch, both very impressive.

That must of been the Ford tobacco, its a pebbly grain!
Any chance that Mr Harvey may have another 4mtrs stashed away?
May have to ring him and see?

I did ask and he did look but said that's his last , but he is going to ask his contacts to see if they have any and let me know

Mr P I'm so proud it was you that was my 1000th :D I will let you know if and what Peter says when he gets in touch.
If I had known that guy I would have knocked for a brew

well Mick let me know when you've picked her up and your welcome to a brew and may be a bisciut or two or even dinner :D and I can have second look at your nice new roof  . I'm less than a minute from J25 if the lights are with you otherwise you will double the time unless theres a bit of traffic then it may be a bit longer  .

Just had a phone call and IT'S READY. So nipping down tomorrow to pick it up. Let's hope it's nice and sunny and warm.

Fat chance !, if you're lucky you might get nice and sunny. Don't know what it's like your side of the hills but its bitterly cold over here, my gravel has been frozen all day.

Yeah right, it's so damp down there the midwives have to scrape moss off the new born!
I remember there used to be a Manchester car club called Rainy City Cruisers when I was a youth.
Have fun tomorrow, it'll be like Christmas again!

John.
